Patent Reexamination Board of the State Intellectual Property Office selected the top ten cases of request invalidation/reexamination in the year of 2015, and published the result in the openday held by the State Intellectual Property Office.

The selection of the top ten cases, which cover technical fields of machinery, electricity, communications, medicine, chemistry, materials and designs, is mainly based on a review of the typical guiding significanceforthe trialstandards to be applied, with consideration of the degree of social concern and decision writing. From various aspects and angles, the selected ten casesdeeply explained the legal connotation and executive standard of patent law in the examination of cases of request for invalidation/reexamination, which reflected the Patent Reexamination Board's new cognition of these legal issues as well as the its achievements in the past year.The selectionis good for the promotion of patent system and the consistent implementation of the trialstandards, which caninspire and protectthe innovation.
